MP3 Music Leader First To Offer Consumers Free Music With
The Purchase Of SanDisk Flash Memory Products

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 12, 2000-- SanDisk Corporation (Nasdaq:SNDK - news) and
EMusic.com (Nasdaq:EMUS - news) announced today that the two companies have developed an agreement to
offer consumers 12 free MP3 song titles with the purchase of SanDisk CompactFlash(TM) (CF(TM)),

``This agreement demonstrates the advance of digital audio into all aspects of everyday life,'' said Steve Grady, vice

cards, and getting your favorite music free with them, is an innovative, new concept that consumers will love. SanDisk
and EMusic are setting in place an incentive to encourage consumers to experiment with a new way to purchase
music on line which is more convenient, economical and quicker.''
