Cooters: How long can companies like BLS and AWE exist in TDMA environment that only provide modest data upgrades? Piecyk at Paine Webber is talking about the impending defection of TDMA carriers to CDMA.

IMO, this is huge as it represents QCOM's growing influence in the evolution to 3G. Ironically, ERICY is the infrastructure provider behind much of this change of heart from EDGE to CDMA. What is this going to do NOK's isolated position as the only major infrastructure vendor with no CDMA licenses? Gulp...
