I don't know Mark, hope I'm very wrong about this, but I get a very different feeling from oil's current sky high price than the last time around..... Also, heating oil is literally going through the roof, and many, many folks are going to suffer extremely high heating bills this winter unless we have a very mild one..... These are also often the people who can least afford very high heating bills, and it will definitely cut into their spending power for shopping in my opinion. Any possible effect from this developing situation should already be reflected in the low price of JCP's shares at this point though. The daily chart on JCP now looks to be in decent shape, with a nice "positive divergence" technical situation appearing on yesterday's little pop. Yogi
