Paul, I think the cable co's are unveralued and underappreaciated also. I think TCI will gain great benefit from @Home's sale,and it is their best division. Remember they sold 5% to the likes of BAY and other for 48 million,they plan to sell another approx 6% to us. I think though I rather buy UMG,or COX as they have less debt,and are more efficient and leading edge. But if TCI got rid of Hinderey and Malone,and got a new management team with the foresight to see and do the correct things,then maybe I would buy TCI. The new law just passed favors the cable companies,and they will be getting into telephony and other services very soon. Tim
