I just found out that $7 fee for "bill payment services", a service I never signed up for in the first place was deducted every month from my account. I also never received a $100 bonus promotion for opening an account with Amex despite calling them up to remind them. Other than that, a clunky website and the final $50 rip off, they were OK. My impression is that they will try to separate you from your cash as stealthily as possible.
