DataMEG's Communication Acceleration System Prototype Completed; CAS Technology Fully Compatible With POTS and DSL Networks
WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- DataMEG Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Viola Group, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VIOL - news) announced today that their Communication Acceleration System (CAS) technology prototype has been completed. The Company is prepared to demonstrate its CAS prototype, which may be integrated into existent Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) and DSL Networks.

``The development of the CAS prototype has been completed. We're now involved in the final preparations of the CAS prototype for a rigorous technology testing and demonstration schedule which will occur during the month of September. We're delighted that the CAS prototype is capable of working within the acoustic frequency ranges inherent to Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) as expected. We've also achieved the capability of working within the DSL frequency ranges, which adds significant flexibility and system use application in existent telecommunications networks,'' stated Andrew Benson, President of DataMEG Corp.

``The CAS prototype is capable of handling digital bit file inputs from any peripheral source, making the conversion to the appropriate CAS frequency combinations that represent the digital file content and sending the converted file to any receiving peripheral, regardless of distance. The file is converted from its CAS content form to its original digital bit form and is ready for display on the receiving peripheral. This process is performed at the traditional representative transmission rate of 8 MBS upstream and downstream. However, we believe that transmission rates over 8 MBS are readily achievable and will be demonstrated by CAS in the near future. Additionally, CAS is not limited to what has been termed ''the last mile,`` continued Mr. Benson

``The ability of CAS to perform within the DSL frequency range is an outstanding achievement allowing for the integration of CAS into existent DSL networks without having to modify or alter the DSL configuration, except to add our CAS interface. This interface will permit DSL to operate as CAS does over POTS utilizing our technology to send digital bit file content through the network. This process eliminates the digital bit load within the DSL network, resulting in faster transmission rates, as well as creating upstream/downstream transmission rate continuity that current DSL networks lack,'' Mr. Benson concluded.

DataMEG Corp., currently headquartered in Washington DC, is an engineering/technology firm focused on Internet and telecommunications technology solutions. DataMEG Corp. has developed proprietary technology, the Communications Acceleration System (CAS), which allows for the passage of digital bit file information over Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) at high transmission and data transmission rates.
