Or you could view it as the destiny for the industry. If any other industry took 2 years to close down an unprofitable enterprise (homestake mine), they would be out of business in a heartbeat. The industry should close every unprofitable mine as expeditiously as possible removing uneeded supply and improving the companies cash flow. Ken
