Don Wolanchuck, a stock analyst, was on NBR Friday after the close and mentioned VLNC as a top pick of his. He actually had mentioned VLNC several months back when it was around $3 - $5. In earlier statements, he believes its a $40 to $50 stock in 2 - 3 years.
Yes, VLNC has gotten a lot of coverage of late from stock analysts. It should prove rewarding later in the growth cycle of VLNC. The potential is indeed, enormous.
The weather's not bad. It's like taking off in an airplane and going through the clouds to glorious sunshine. The weather is ALWAYS spectacular 50,000 feet in the sky. We're obviously a long way from 50,000 feet, but.....
TTMAR: Take the money and run. It's often used by day traders who put down a lot of money in a stock and play it for a 1/2 point to 1 point move, then they sell. When you have 5000 shares of something, 1 point is a good real dollar return. It really all depends on your investment philosophy. Are you a day trader? Do you invests in story stocks and are willing to hold on for the long term? How much risk are you willing to shoulder? Depending on your answers, you either TTMAR or just sit tight. On thing I can guarantee, is if you try to time these things, hang it up. You may GET LUCKY here or there, but in the long run, you'll get burned.
IMHO: In my honest opinion. I really don't know why people post such a statement. It's obvious that most everything we say here is just that, our opinions.
It will be interesting to see how VLNC trades today. I would expect a little pull back on profit taking. If it holds up well (above 7.5), I would expect a further run up "later." |
