I just received the request to tender my BBN shares at $ 29 per share.

If this is not finalized by June 5, 1997, then who knows what will happen?

I think $ 29 is a steal for GTE and not a good deal for the shareholders. Plus, my broker, Charles Schwab wants to charge me $ 39 to handle the transaction and my e-Schwab account would only be $ 29.95! The fact that BBN closed over $ 29 yesterday makes this $29 deal sound poor.

I'm going to take a wait and see approach.
