100% chance Bubba draws on the "Strategic" Petroleum Reserve (I guess the "strategy" to be cited is to help algore win the election). The Saudi's have already warned that any draw on the SPR will be met by reduced production on their part. Agree that the distillate build is far too little, far too late. Look for Anglo-French style trucker strikes here in the good ole U.S. (those trucker dudes have insufficient incentive to work for nothing, given that they don't get any stock options and all!!) The gas draw is (somewhat) expected this time of year due to the change in the refining mix. However, 6 billion barrels is FAR above what anyone projected. Look for UG futures to take a nice trip skyward tomorrow.... All of the debacle to come was preventable, and I lay the blame for it on Clinton, Greenspan, and the U.S. consumer.
