Let the shorts have their day in the sun, since the slightest spark ignites the next covering rally. Patience. It appears that telco spending has hurt stocks in this sector--which is logical considering how NT, CSCO and LU are being shot down. So much negativity and that is a good thing. It certainly got to me as I had to unload some positions early today. Could that be a good contrarian indicator to have the most bullish people like myself finally get nervous? I would think so. Closer to the October earnings and/or preannouncements(positive) from any one of these types of companies will really get the short covering rally going. I am waiting for some positive news as the negatives can't get much worse. The oil and euro worries are not helping the stocks either. I think the Euro is the bigger concern for this sector. Looking for a rebound in the Euro to spark a short covering rally in this and other related stocks. good luck
