"Agree with you AMD is going stratospheric. It better be soon, I have been holding for months on margin and could use some relief."

Comment: Can't believe AMD hasn't gone stratospheric already...I never thought we might have to wait 'til Oct. 11 for yet more concrete proof of AMD's obscene profitability before lighting the fire under AMD shares and I'm still not convinced that we will have to wait that long...It's so obvious that AMD has superior products in both flash and microprocessor markets...and with those superior products come superior profits and a superior eps, as in twice INTC's Y2000 eps...AMD is unstable in this range and I'm looking for a huge move up over the next 3-1/2 months...Heck it traded at $48.50 in 1997 on the basis of 2 succesive positive quarters averaging $0.08/share. We're about to witness a 4th succesive quarter of record breaking earnings and are looking at the possibility of $3.50 or better for Y2000 or an average across the 4 Y2000 quarters of close to $0.90 per quarter, more than 10 times that $0.08 eps of 1997 when AMD traded at $48.50...If you've been around the market long enough, you know that this imbalance will be corrected

Buy, buy, buy all the AMD you can at this level and you'll suerly have addditional reason to enjoy the upcoming festive season...Ridiculous, is the pricing of AMD at $30 compared to INTC at $66 (something almost symbolic about that $66) when INTC eps for 2000 is not likely to equal 50% that of AMD...but, as they say, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make the horse drink...
