Jim: Security is the big problem with DHCP. A number of organization within my company are implementing DHCP. We are looking for a tool that will map a certain user to a certain IP during a certain time frame. Another problem is combining the Unix boxes on either (DNS or NIS+) and the NT environment that uses Univeral Naming Convension "UNC" in combination with "WINS" server. We are looking for the enterprise solution for IP addressing that combines security features and combines the Unix/NT solutions... until later.
