Does anyone know some things about Geac's products other than just a description?

Are Geac's so good that once a customer has it, there's no need to upgrade for an extended period of time? Thus, the reason why sales from the customer base have been slow.

Are Geac's products so crappy that customers do not wish to buy from Geac again?

Did Geac upgrade its software so dramatically that the new versions have become unstable on pilot projects? Thus, customer purchases have been delayed.

Is Geac's software obsolete that they are selling products that customers do not want because their needs have changed? Every company now wants their software to have Internet capabilities. They want to be able to run reports using their web browsers.

Has Geac's competitors caught up to them in product quality and become very competitive in price and service?

I'm in the software industry and I've seen all of the above. Sometimes the product description is very different than the product quality, functionality and experience of the technical staff. Companies are spending money. If Geac doesn't take in their share of business, then there's an issue with their products. It's a competitive market out there.
