Scroll 3/4 of the way down this page. Apparently the rumor of lay offs was denied by the company. Regarding the sales force being called in, I wouldn't doubt it happened. Gosh, management would be really stupid if one month before the end of the quarter they did not call in its sales people to ascertain that all the goals are met, specially if one considers the previous quarter fiasco.
