You should listen to conference call to get your answers but I'll attempt to help you out.

First of all it's a industry wide slow down so you can't blame GEAC for companies not spending money.

Geac basically hasn't lost that many customers but the present customers base isn't spending due to y2K hangover and summer is a slow time over in Europe. Their customer base is huge

Geac has the inside track on the present company base because Geac has worked for them in past and they know the present infrastructure so when they start spending money to either convert over to B2B or just upgrade Geac would be the logical company to go to. Geac has internet ready products for companies that want to convert over to B2B.

If you get your hands on Geac's annual report you will get a report on actual large companies who are using Geacs products.

To sum things up companies aren't spending money but sooner or later they will have to and especially if they want to do B2B. Now the question is when will they start and of course they could bail on Geac. One thing Bergeron has stated is that he pushed customer service so he hopes they would stay with them.
