That's my understanding too, but Palm's practice is not to pre-announce new stuff, so I have no info on what to expect from them in the last Q of the year. My guess would be something that's a big step forward, since IMO the VIIx is a "place holder" and the M100 a market share protector vs HAND.

Palm needs something to match the promise of new gizmos like the Ericsson Communicator, which IMO are a much larger threat than the Pocket PC. I realize that the Ericsson unit won't be available for a while, but the Sony CLIE was a demo at CEBIT too, and it's out there already. One thing is clear, no one can afford to stand still in this rapidly expanding market.
