NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 13, 2000--deltathree, Inc. (Nasdaq: DDDC.O), the IP telephony network and provider of Hosted Communications Solutions for service providers worldwide, today announced it has been chosen by JSC Mastak (SITEK), a major telecommunications technology company in Russia, to begin providing its suite of Internet-based products and services to SITEK to merchandise to its customers throughout Russia. As the first phase of the deal, deltathree will provide SITEK with branded Phone-to-Phone calling cards for distribution to its customers, allowing them to place calls between Russia and the rest of Europe. In addition to providing the roaming cards, deltathree will also provide customer service tools, billing and PIN generation for SITEK to support the service. Also as part of the agreement, all international IP telephony calls placed by SITEK users will be carried over deltathree's managed network. Currently SITEK, which has been providing IP telephony services since mid-1999, occupies a 10% share in the Russian VoIP market. Recently SITEK expanded its presence into Ukraine, Moldova and other Russian territories, further expanding the scope of deltathree's carrier network and providing service in the cities of Moscow, Saint Petersberg, Nijni Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Voronezsh, Kishinev and Kiev.
