Or, as Crompton puts it, Covisint is "three different companies, two different technologies and everyone talking about whether there's a lot of arguing and infighting." My analysis: Any bad news for the stalling Covisint and other hastily hacked together B2B exchanges is excellent news for FMKT. Easier to simply use FMKT's existing service. Also, the attention being paid to VerticalNet's lack of real B2B substance may also be favourable to FMKT (these articles don't mention FMKT though): "VerticalNet Out to Prove It's a B2B Play" thestreet.com "Investors Wonder Whether Ventro is Up for Grabs" thestreet.com What do you think?
