The Short Specialists KNEW MLCO would be distributing the shares now coming into the market, it's like clockwork. The Shorts KNOW the supply is coming and just come in to profit from the distribution. This adds to the volatility, helping those waiting to buy, do so at a lower price. You cant distribute 5 to 8 million shares without some big effect, that is what we get, a big negative effect. The Shorts are clued into the arrival of the sell program and attack the boards with all sorts of innuendo about what it means. ( Innoculate yourself from this plague ) This really is a no brainer. The Little guy is victimized in the process, the quiet period makes responses next to impossible. The overall bearish market makes the timing coincide with a false sentiment echoed by the media that the fiber stocks are weakening. It's no accident, this market is no random walk.
