re: "This seems to explain why most here are dumbfounded by AMDs stock weakness while Wall Street, with most of the money, continues to sell off the stock..."

I do seem to recall a post that I placed some time ago in which I pointed out that when the impact of AMD's incursion into inteL's "proprietary" markets were felt that the down draught from inteL's decline might have an ironic but possibly exaggerated impact on AMD's common price. This could be the last chance to pick it up at these "bargain" prices. It probably is not. The market is perverse and inefficient. I am not buying any here nor do I intend to in the future since I remain "up to my eyeballs" in the common. My last purchases, split adjusted, were below $10/share.

If I owned none or little here, decidedly not the case, I might be loading up. This is "triple witching" week, traditionally very weak for AMD and "good things" (possibly extremely "good things") may be in the offing during the next three to four weeks.

Extraordinarilly Patient Regards,

DARBES
