I hear these numbers of developers thrown around,,,, and frankly ,,,,,i don't believe them.
At one point i heard 10 thousand developers.
Then i hear numbers like 250 thousand developers.
And i'm thinking....How valuable is this product.
How valuable is this engine. How much does it facilitate for average PC user and How much does it facilitate for the programmer with 1 to 2 years experience.
How much does it add to a programmers repertoire if they have a basic knowledge of SQL.
How much does it add to a Programmers skills if they have a basic knowledge of Oracle.
How much does it add to a programmers skills and how much does it save a company in development time.... (How many employees does it save ,,,period.)
How long does it take to slap some bullet proof code back up once it's been damaged.
How long does that take? How hard is that really?
How important is this stuff *really* and why do i want to spend the time to learn ASP when I can do so much more right out of the BOX here and now..... |
