From the article
As of May, Hewlett-Packard Co. made up 30 percent of SCI's sales, Dell was 11 percent, and Compaq Computer Corp. was 9 percent, Miscioscia said.

This confusing info about PC sales, Kumar 6% sequential growth vs IDC 10+% and SCI warning, wouldn't affect CPQ Q3 numbers. Assuming 6% sequential growth, this means CPQ PC sales will increase by ~300M from Q2 to Q3, the remaining 400M should come mostly from Wildfire sales, and some from storage and services which were weak in Q2. I don't see much risk here regarding Q3 projected numbers. This is another false alarm similar to SSB downgrade about 10 weeks ago.
