1. Nothing posted on this thread by anyone will have any impact on the stock price. This is not a penny stock with a tiny float. 2. I have noticed a repeated pattern, on this and other boards, for anyone who posts anything less than bullish to get branded as a short, or trying to manipulate the stock price, or have some other secret evil motive. This attitude makes a debate, with differing viewpoints, difficult. 3. My consistent position on QCOM has been: very bullish very longterm. Short and medium-term, my opinion has fluctuated. At the moment, I think we are in a 55-70 trading range, and I'm trying to get my average cost basis down to the bottom of that range. I don't love any stock, I don't hate any stock, I'm just trying to make money. 4. From what you've posted, our positions on the stock are not that different. We both thought the stock was overvalued earlier this year. We both think the long-term prospects are excellent. We both think the stock is now close to a bottom. You think the bottom is around 60, I think I'll get another chance to get it a little lower (55). I value your opinion, and your track record. But you do a disservice to this thread, by ridiculing a poster whose position is (slightly) different from your own. 5. Could we have a polite debate about the long/medium/short-term prospects for the company and stock, without any accusations of stock manipulation? Please? |
