There are a lot of companies diving into the CMOS image sensor area. It is indeed a reinforcement of how great a market SanDisk has targeted.

I see the digital camera competition pounding down the cost of high quality digital still imaging and simultaneously pushing the pent up demand for flash memory cards even higher.

You can't beat that with a stick.
