GV,

re: "If you're talking about when the stock was above 75, no, I am not nearly as confident now. Then, I was pretty confident that the stock price would decline."

Me too. Thats when I sold covered calls.

re: "A month ago, when the stock was in the high 60's, I wasn't so sure. I am a little more bullish now."

Isn't that what I said, "a month ago"? I don't remember saying "at it's all time high". Actually, Intel was trading in the mid-$60's, a few points above today's close. And the unanimous opinion, at the time, was that demand would be well above supply for at least the rest of the year. Now, the consensus demand opinion is decidedly mixed. Are you saying you actually believe there is less risk now, based on available information, than there was a month ago?

re: "Agreed. I don't dismiss anybody's opinion who appears to be reasonably intelligent."

So you are questioning the intelligence of the analysts that downgraded Intel, you certainly seem to be dismissing their opinions.

You do understand what a demand slowdown would do to Intel's stock price, over the next year, at it's current PE?

John
