Art-- GE grows nicely on its own but has a great habit of buying companies that can help the bottom line and unloading those that do not perform. That action is what makes the big numbers often. I see them adding continously. I'm not so certain the economy will continue as it has in the past. Greenspan may have put us in a recession with his interest rate increases. It will be qtr 1 of 01 before anything is certain but look at the mkts, housing, retail, he slowed the economy down more than makes many happy and 3/4% has not been felt yet. We could also use more skilled craftsmen working also. WS is jumping over e-commerece but until the profits begin in earnest one should watch holdings closely...
