I recommend the amat thread for up to date, hard evidence on demand issues. Several folks there do a lot of work on this. I don't know what evidence the analysts see that would contradict what the amat followers have found - which is mighty bullish. The latest could lead one to conclude that the cycle is being pushed out all the time. With luck we could get two more years. What is less clear is how quickly things could turn down. Looks like folks are on pins and needles waiting for the least sign of a turndown.
