JDS Uniphase (JDSU) 104 13/16 +1 5/8: Merrill Lynch reiterated NT ACCUM/LT BUY following Wednesday's analyst meeting in Ottawa. The company conveyed two messages: manufacturing capacity is the key to growth and the company's goal is to increase current capacity by 4 times in any given 18 month period; additionally company addressed its efforts in most of its major optical technology efforts, firm feels that the company is dedicated to remain ahead of the curve in almost all areas of optical componentry.
