Damn it's good to hear from you, Tex. This thread hasn't been the same since you and Pluvia/Effluvia left us, oh so many months ago. Don't you think it's a little bit of an exaggeration to say that "MSFT had no part" in the release, when their executive was quoted in it praising WaveXpress? Did I hallucinate that quote? Did Joe Trippi make it up? I don't think so...

Remember the story of the hopeful little boy who, when he found a pile of crap under the Christmas tree, said "I know there's a pony in her somewhere?" Well, as far as Wave is concerned, you're the mirror opposite....

Yes, of course you're right that Microsoft chose to not allow their ticker symbol to be included in the release--true enough. Wave could have got into a protracted discussion with MSFT about it, and could well have convinced the lawyers at MSFT to allow its use. However, not one word of the release would have been different, and everyone but negative nitpickers learned that the two companies were working together...

That, Tex, is the salient feature of the release, not that MSFT didn't allow their ticker symbol to be used....

But welcome back just the same, Tex. I must admit, I kinda missed ya....
