Maritz leaves Microsoft: ...Maritz's exit came less than six months after he was tapped to head the developer group and speed the roll-out of the company's ".NET" initiative to rework its software for the Internet... I guess it's so obvious what ".NET" is all about that he didn't find it enough of a challenge.<g> I wonder whether Gates would, if forced to choose, rather lose Maritz or Ballmer? It's probably a close call. --QS
