I have to confess that I have not been touting the stock for investment, since the company had only 313 stockholders in March and 314 in February, 2000. The discussion is mostly based on technology and direction of the company.

As you probably know, that management sometimes lack the coherence of stock value, company future and temporary work load. $180/share is merely a reminder to the management, that putting one foot in front of the other and keep on marching, they will get their growth. They must consider the stockholders' value in all future decision making. There will come a time when the write offs will not be there to hide the profits.

I have been looking at a number of companies; where they all of a sudden realize that the economy is great and their destiny had changed when there are no more business cycles. Business cycles for demand side economy is void due to "obsolescence and replacement" planning. Supply side economy is now a constant, and not much of a variance.

To be married to a management you don't like is not investment. It is constant fear of losing money; get a divorce. Good luck on ANTC. Footnote: Our cost on ANTC is less than $1 per share; so we love ANTC management.
