From the daily prospector: LATIN AMERICA Corriente Resources (CTQ:TSE) released results from the latest drilling on the Mirador copper project in Ecuador and says they indicate the discovery of a large copper/gold porphyry deposit. The company reports the best assay interval to date was found in hole 35, which returned 263 m of 0.98% copper-equivalent, adding that several holes show an improvement in grade with depth. Hole 16 reportedly averaged 0.48% copper-equivalent from surface to 62.0 m but increases to 1.03% copper-equivalent for the last 59.0 m to 214 m. Other copper-equivalent highs include 1.04% over 41.0 m, 1.05% over 64.0 m and 101.% over 17.0 m. (Sept 13/00),cheers
