A significant innovation, the MARK-V is the world's first energy meter available with a fully-integrated Digital PCS Cellular Phone and Antenna allowing utilities to use established public wireless network infrastructure as the communications gateway to retrieve metering data. The Digital PCS cellular phone is compatible with existing Itron/UTS MV-90 reader systems and provides utilities a rapidly deployable, seamless nationwide, end-to-end wireless meter reading solution for retrieving billing data, energy usage profiles and power quality reports from their Commercial and Industrial accounts.
