"just a trading vehicle" and other lies.
I have been a long time investor in Infospace and reader of this message board. I think there is always a place for honest discussion about a stock whether you are short or long. However, when Spytrdr plays loose and fast with the truth and misquotes another individual I think it is time to expose this lie and attempt at dis-information. Spytrdr recently included in one of his posts a quote from an individual from Briefing.Com he identified as only (R.G.) that gave the impression he had a negative view of Infospace. I subscribe to Briefing.Com and sent an email to this individual to find out if Spytrdr was indeed being accurate. What follows are both my email and his email in response, in their entirety.
---------------------------------------------------- my email:
Hi,
I am a Briefing.com subscriber and came across this post on the Silicon Investor Board for Infospace. In his post he claims that "R.G." from Briefing.com has made certain negative comments to him about Infospace in an email. I have included the link and text of his post. I wondered if his comments are accurate and just wanted to give a heads up that someone is using Briefing.com as a source. Thanks.

when i talked about a house of cards hanging on relative valuations that's precisely what i meant.it's ok if you play the game, but run for the hills when the music stops and the domino effect begins to work in reverse. this stock is just a trading vehicle, and everyone but you, knows that. i have an email from R.G. (i won't disclose his full name) from Briefing.com saying exactly so, "just a trading vehicle". ___ "When you say, "INSP has a P/S ratio of 300, they are WAY OVERVALUED, ect.." and don't compare them to other tech companies that tells me anything." <<<<
---------------------------------------------- now here is the response I received: Thank you for your email.
I am aware of Spytrdr, he emails us all the time, usually pumping EGRP. As for Infospace being a trading vehicle, he is misquoting me. I said Infospace is a good trading vehicle, not "just" a trading vehicle, and the comment was in response to his question on why there is so much interest (volume) in Infospace, and not in EGRP.
I find it amazing he quotes me, because that email exchange occured in May. I had to search my sent folder to find it.
I would like to suggest that simply ignoring the entry in the Techstocks message board is the best approach.
Thanks for reading Briefing.com
