Pravin, I wouldn't say the stream numbers look "really bad". It's also not entirely clear if it's the same stream benchmark. The P4 does have a faster processor bus, and two Rambus channels is on paper double the bandwidth of a single DDR PC1600 channel. PC1600 is, on the other hand, again on paper, only a 50% increase in raw bandwidth over PC133.

The P4 may very well win on some things; the funny thing about Anand's writeup is that he picked a higher proportion of Intel-optimized benchmarks than normal for his tests.
