My shares are via Schwab, too, and I was told that, because it is a cash buyout, that there would be no charge; that after the buyout is approved, the dollar value of my shares would simply end up in my cash account.

You may want to give Schwab a call back.

Also, to all: If anyone is fearful that this deal may not go through (resulting in a tanking of the stock), but wishes to hold on to BBN in the event another buyer shows up (dreaming...), just put a stop loss sell order in at $28.

BBN will only see $28 again if something drastic (ie, negative) occurs, and if something drastic does occur you'd best be covered.
