Microsoft, in announcing the C# programming language (important .NET component) *pointedly* said that they had built C# from the ground up, and specifically that there was no relation between C# and COOL, which was the clean room Java killer platform and said by MS to be the replacement for Visual J++. --- Guess what. Apparently, MS rushed C# out the door so fast they forgot to 'clean up' the code. Insdide C# is numerous COOL references, COOL code, COOl routines, and even the name of the COOL lead developer plastered all over, within. --- Microsoft clearly lied about the nature of this C# thing, and in doing so show the real colors behind their .NET hoax. --- The pace of developers running for the exits and away from the indelibly striped MS zebra is sure to become more brisk than it already is. -JCJ
