Zeev, the rationale is that the Government takes out of the economy more money than it puts in, and thus a contraction results from this monetary liquidity soaking action). NOt this time. AG is doing a reasonably good job of ensuring that the surplus is used to inject liquidity by buying back treasury bills and bonds. With fewer bonds to soak up the money, equities may well get a share of the excess. But don't listen to me.
