MDR has an exceptional management. They have 5 sites in south of Argentina. They just recently staked some more around the same area. In Dec 95, they showed Teck Co (TEK.B : TSE), one of the leading mining co in Canada of what they were holding. Teck was very excited and worked a deal with Mansfield. Teck bought 1 million shares at $2 in P.P and commited to spending $17 million on two properties in return for a 50% interest. The property that is getting all the attention is Cerro Samenta (copper-porphyry) and now Cerro Gordo (gold). Teck's has been trenching on Cerro Samenta for a while and the results shold be out soon. The drilling should start next month. Only until recently, Mansfield got the attention it deserved. Just a day or two after I posted the first message, an article appeared in The Financial Post (Canadian) on Thurs, Jun 20, 96. If you are interested you should read it. You will be impressed. The heading says "Argentine expectaions fire up Mansfield Minerals". P.S Yes, I am in options, mostly on NASDAQ.
