Seems to me that the market is looking for something else to worry about, now that the Fed is less of a threat. Remember the good old days of Asian currency crises, trade imbalances, Brazilian debt, ad nauseum? The market needs a wall of worry to climb, it can't deal with increasing productivity, low inflation, and good earnings. Maybe the Euro will help out.
