Forget about the payment services, unless you count what they could do on the front end in MSN, but that's not where the transaction revenues are.

Microsoft sold Transpoint, their payment services company, to CKFR for a stake in the latter. CKFR paid a LOT for it (too much IMHO), but MSFT guarantees CKFR 200 million in revenues over the next 5 years and exclusive rights to payment processing originating on MS web sites. The transaction was just finalized last week.
