o/t: For those using FRT; here's an explanation of the new data in the quote field: Dear Member, To comply with NASDAQ regulations we have added two new fields and modified one. New Quote field: VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price) The Volume Weighted Average Price, commonly called VWAP, can be used as an execution evaluation benchmark. The computation of a daily VWAP is straightforward. Simply add up the dollars traded for every transaction (price times shares traded) and then divide by the total shares traded for the day. New Quote Field: UPC Indicator All real-time single security quote displays of Nasdaq NMS data must include the Uniform Practice Code (UPC) 11830 Indicator, when applicable. This indicator is shown as "Y" or "N" (Y=yes/N=not restricted). A security is considered restricted if it is not eligible to be "shorted". Bid Tic Indicator This indicator "+" for an UP TIC and "-" for a down TIC is placed after the quote in the Bid field. The bid tick indicator denotes whether the current bid is lower or higher than the immediately previous bid. Thank you for taking the time to write to FreeRealTime.
