ENZ VERSUS AFFX VERSUS THE WORLD

There are some things worthy of note, consistent with Red's observation.

UBS Warburg started coverage of ENZO a few days ago. I read the report. A much bigger one is coming from UBS. Much more comprehensive. But I think it is fair to expect the long report to maintain consistency with the short one.

They (UBS) cite ENZO has having Pioneered the technology necessary to move from radioactive labeling to nonradioactive labeling, as a singular commencement milestone which launched the industrialization of DNA research.

"THE FACE THAT LAUNCHED A THOUSAND CHIPS"

They also cite the technology as "currently in use", in every form of gene chip, including fluidic. Very flattering comments from a very professional source.

I would note also the recent win in Japan for ENZO, which included claims directed toward affixing a sequence to a base or "substrate". ENZO mentions its success in Canada and additional patents filed in Europe. (I know you are watching, GLAXO!!!(((o)))(((o)))

I think these newcomers into the DNA chip arena are in for some serious issues when it comes to prior art which is enabled. The USPTO can issue Patents which are not valid or enabled. It certainly happens. ENZO has over 300 products it sells to many big, recognized names. As such, there is no doubt, its technologies are enabled. It makes money in manufacturing and selling its products. One of a scant few profitable companies in this sector and perhaps, the only one with a "Bell Labs" or "RAMBUS" mentality.

This report specifically mentions AFFX and the importance of the relationship with ENZO. A FACT the shorts tried to downplay ever since ENZO broke 10.

I think the plan is to see ENZO over 120 by Dec. 30 and I expect AFFX to follow suit.

The Patent issues are going to become very key in distinguishing who has longivity in this sector and who does not. AFFX and ENZ will be there, in the future, as significant leaders. That I am certain of.

I would bet the farm, but then I would have no cows left to tip...So I bet cautiously and optimistically.

Here's to the combined success of AFFX and ENZO!
