Ian, The key words are "bypassing" and "rude and insolent." You need not "bypass" anything you deem an "inanity", but you may correct it in a fashion that doesn't prompt an otherwise civil poster to respond in a clearly "rude and insolent" manner to what he reasonably perceived as a put down. I laughed at your last post, but I think you are having too much fun. Cary
