I think that Bill Gates has gone crazy a la Howard Hughes and is walking around with Kleenex boxes on his feet, has lost his entire top management team, has no strategy and no one to create one, no one to execute it even if he had one which he doesn't, no way to get into the 64-bit internet buildout. He puts out patch releases to Windows 95 and press releases about space alien "rich clients" ruling the internet.

But he's a hell of a philanthropist.

If you think Microsoft is a value stock now, wait nine months. Ballmer will be gone. So will two hundred billion of MSFT market cap.
