Gersh,

?? When did we reverse ??

Look at a daily COMPX chart, and just pretend today's candle was the up color. See- looks like a nice reversal? <ggg>

Actually, I track the pivot points on NDX. The primary pivot (high + low + close)/3 of yesterday was almost identical to the prior day, and today's was up 61 points, or 1.6% surpassing Monday's point by 23. Even though the close was slightly lower, we spent most of the day above yesterday's range and put in a much higher high and a much higher low. This is the first time since September 1 it made a new 3-day high, and this is a 4-day high. Maybe that is a reversal. Of course the Dow was mighty ugly, and could drag the whole thing down. I must say though, I was surprised to see how well the Dow held up after cracking below the August 30,31 lows. The fact that it fought so hard to hold that level gives some hope for a bounce. Then there is that thing about how when the Dow closes so close to the low, the next day is up. Who knows? Tomorrow will be interesting.
