Re: I doubt that even a German court will let them steal other people's IP. Zeev, have you ever worked with German academics? And an academic background is generally necessary to become a Judge in a court that takes IP cases. They are not likely to be amused by Rambus's claim to have invented SDRAM and DDR, regardless of whether or not some aspect of technology in general use was included in a patent granted for RDRAM. Regardless or whether or not the technology is compelling, Rambus invented RDRAM and deserves royalties from anyone who produces it. Rambus did not invent DDR or SDRAM, and European Judges are not likely to think the current suits are valid. They don't look kindly on poseurs over there. Dan
