WCDMA is Qualcomm's, Just today there was be ATT press realease saying EDGE is the real thing, and even that cdma is a "hype".
Well, that they say about cdamOne years ago, now Verizon/Sprint/WCom/others are bigger in total than AWE.
China/Siemmenscdma is a weird concotion it will go nowhere.
Qualcomm gets 5% from CDMA2000 and same from WCDMA.
WCDMA total of 15% royalties once all the interested parties are put together (lu,mot,ericy,docomo,nokia,and ten others claiming a piece of the royalties, the reason why Korea is going cdma2000 and not wcdma, and China is flirting back and for and now back).
