So many of my life experiences have been gut checks beyond human imagination. BUT I HAVE LIVED!!! No one will ever accuse me of having lived one of those ordinary lives of "lonely desperation." (Thoreau? Emerson?) NEVER! I will continue to take risks. Just never such incredible high stakes gambles like I placed on Qualcomm. When I made the "pot" in early January (not millions, mind you), I was "lost." Maybe I felt as if I had not deserved it. Self-esteem issues, likely. But I was clearly "lost." What mystifies me these days was that I did not register the terror I had felt when Q! (that's Mqurice-speak) declined seriously in late January. An out was so magnificently presented in late March. Damn! Back to work I go, I guess. But I like to work. I don't want to be like so many who simply anticipate retiring. I want to be productive. But the crazy obsession I had with Qualcomm has really been a blow to me in that I have lost a golden opportunity at reasonable comfort. What a drag! Love you girl, John
